Abstract
The effects of the introduction of apodizing filters for color imaging have been calculated for the PSF and OTF tests. Diverse filters have been considered for the reduction of the chromatic diffraction effects and of the longitudinal chromatic aberration. The enhancement on the chromaticity is also illustrated by the experimental record of the PSF for the aberration free system. © 1986
