Abstract
Abstract A plastic diffuser with high‐aspect‐ratio surface profile for application of LCD backlighting is proposed. It can diffuse light uniformly into wider angle than that from a conventional bead‐embedded diffuser. The diffusion power of the proposed diffuser and the fabrication processes are also presented.
