We have determined that the average component of 8 ISqu has a mass 9)? = 1.23 I 0.089)? , and an absolute magnitude Mv = + 4.0 I 0.1. This determination is based on new observations of the system as a spectroscopic binary combined with data from the visual orbit. Key words: stellar masses - stellar luminosities - visual binary stars - spectroscopic binary stars
