Abstract

Chlorotris(triphenylphosphine)rhodium(I), 1, was prepared in 73.4% yield by the treatment of trans-chlorocarbonylbis (triphenylphosphine)-rhodium(I), 2, with α-chlorotoluene followed by treatment with triphenylphosphine in refluxing ethanol.
