Paranoid Psychosis in a Holocaust Survivor

Abstract

Lichtenberg and Marcus present a case study of an 85 year old man with paranoid delusions. This case demonstrates the importance of assessing each patient thoroughly, and coming up with a treatment plan appropriateness to the unique constraints and opportunities therein presented. In general, insight therapy would be less appropriate in geriatric paranoia, while supportive therapy would be recommended.
