Abstract

The heat capacity of YVO 4 was measured by adiabatic calorimetry in the region of 13.11–347.14 K. The values of thermodynamic functions (the entropy, enthalpy change and reduced Gibbs function) were calculated using smoothed heat capacity values. The value of the Gibbs energy of formation from simple compounds was calculated.
