Abstract
For original paper see K. Premaratne and E.I. Jury, ibid., vol.41, pp.747-50 (1994). In the above paper, a notion that may be considered the discrete-time counterpart of positive realness was presented. The corresponding counterpart to the Kalman-Yakubovitch lemma and algebraic necessary and sufficient conditions were also presented. This note aims to correct some of the inconsistencies that were later realized.
