Abstract
An exact surface integral, derived from the Green's theorem in the time domain, combined with the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method, is used for calculating fields near scatterers. Examples are shown which demonstrate the efficiency and utility of the method, which is especially useful for calculating fields in large computational domains. ©1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
