Abstract

Abstract The crystal of the title compound is monoclinic with space group P21/a, a=30.36(3), b=6.04(1), c=4.16(1) Å, β=97.4(1)° and Z=4. The crystal structure was solved from X-ray powder diffractometer data by the packing analysis based on an ellipsoid-model and by the pattern-fitting structure refinement. The final R (profile) value was 0.168. This structure is isostructural with that of p-bromobenzoic acid.
