Abstract

Abstract An efficient method for mesoporous molecular sieve MCM-41 was introduced in this report. In EDA/TEOS/CTAB/glycerol system, mesoporous molecular sieve MCM-41 has been synthesized at room temperature and under hydrothermal condition, respectively, characterized by X-ray power diffraction and N2 adsorption. Compared with the samples synthesized under hydrothermal condition, the samples synthesized at room temperature have better order, larger pore diameter and narrower pore diameter distribution.
