Abstract Cs2Pd3USe6 (50% yield), Cs2Pd3US6 (40% yield), Cs2Pt3USe6 (20% yield), Cs2Pt3US6 (20% yield), Rb2Pd3USe6 (50% yield), Rb2Pd3US6 (60% yield), Rb2Pt3USe6 (20% yield), Rb2Pt3US6 (20% yield), and K2Pd3US6 (40% yield) are synthesized by solid state reaction of U, Pd or Pt, and S or Se in ACl (A: K, Rb, Cs) or A2Qx (Q: S, Se) fluxes (1173—1223 K, 24—192 h).
