Abstract
Despite recent declines in school dropout rates, there is growing concern over the dropout problem. The success of dropout prevention programs depends upon the timely and accurate identification of students with potential to drop out of school. Numerous variables have been found to be related to school dropout, and methods for identifying these students should be applicable to the complexities of the dropout problem. The purpose of paper is to offer a process by which schools can develop methods for accurately identifying potential dropouts.
