Abstract
This paper describes the state of research for web service development of university survey data and comparative analysis on the survey data with consideration of general university information structure. Institution data of university, college, or college of technology are substantially important for data analysis or knowledge discovery in education management field. However, university institution data are not necessarily standardized and compiled in each university, so that it is not easy to integrate their information for various analyses. Investigation of the integrated university database is needed to deal with various kinds of university institution information including national university survey or school basic survey in Japan, providing the structured university data via web services, some of which can be utilized for analyses of university characteristics.
