Abstract
Successful breeding of the American Alligator at the Cango Crocodile Ranch, after three former attempts, is discussed. Eggs have been laid since 1985, but only in 1989 was breeding successful. Poor hatching success was due to incorrect adult diet and poor incubation conditions.
