New OH masers in the direction of H2O masers

Abstract

We have discovered five new OH maser emission sources, three of which are probably associated with H2O masers. This provides further evidence that conditions favourable to H2O maser emission imply conditions favourable to OH main-line maser emission in the near vicinity, and vice versa.
