Although many excellent fossil remains, especially f usulines, gastropods and so forth have been known from the Akasaka Limestone, northwestern part of Ogaki City, central Japan, any bryozoans have not been reported. However, in the summer of 1977, I visited there and found a small amount of bryozoan samples at the outcrop along the road cutting at Hanaokayama where the upper part of the Akasaka Limestone is distributed. It called my attention that one of the bryozoan species might be identical with Eridopora sp.cf.E. parasitica Waagen and Wentzel which has been reported by Sakagami
