We investigated the effects of adult body size of Oomyzus sokolowskii (Kurdjumov) (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae) on longevity and lifetime fecundity. A positive significant correlation was observed between female body size and the longevity of females that had not oviposited when fed honey, but no significant correlation was found between male size and longevity. The females that oviposited lived a much shorter time than females that did not oviposit, and no significant correlation was found between body size and longevity. There was no significant correlation between female size and lifetime fecundity (=the total number of eggs produced). The parasitoid size in both females and males was significantly influenced by the size of host larvae from which they emerged.
