The Auger zones, which characterize the participation of various levels of initial and final configurations in the Auger transitions between these configurations, are investigated. The expressions for the shift of the average energy of the Auger zone with respect to the average energy of the configuration are presented. The large shift of zones is related to the existence of two groups of levels for complex configurations. The concentration of transition rates in the high-energy part for some Auger spectra is predicted.
