A code has been developed to calculate incremental nuclear fuel costs. The code performs multi-cycle reactor calculations with the fuel charged, shuffled, and discharged between cycles. Upon examining sample problems with this code, it has been found that coupling effects between cycles influence incremental costs. In fact, calculating incremental costs by considering expenses and credits associated only with the perturbed cycle can often be misleading. (19 references) (auth)
