Abstract

Abstract Adult survival and progeny development of T. castaneum in whole and broken grains and whole and polished flour derived from ten local cultivars of wheat varied. Survival of parental adult beetles was significantly lower in whole than in broken grains or flour. Progeny development was greater in broken than in whole grains and in polished than in whole flour.
