Abstract

We experimentally study the transmission of a 400 Gbps coherent 16-QAM multi-band OFDM superchannel over a 10×100 km G.652 fibre-based WDM transmission line. We investigate the performance of Volterra-based and digital back-propagation-based nonlinear equalizers over three scenarios with different quantities of inter-channel nonlinearities.
