Abstract
Boundary-layer laminar-turbulent transition prediction methods and boundary-layer flow control aimed at delaying the transition are described. These topics are considered in view of applications for the design of airplanes with swept laminar wings and the development of computational fluid dynamics methods meant for computing the aerodynamic characteristics of a wing with a large laminar part of the boundary layer.
