An equivalent circuit for a surface-acoustic-wave (SAW) double electrode is proposed, and from this circuit the three-port admittance parameter for the N-pair electrode is derived in closed-form. The validity of this circuit is discussed from the radiation and reflection characteristics. A detailed comparison of the experimental results with calculated results on LiNbO3 are shown.
