Abstract
Graphical User Interface (GUI) provides users with an intuitive interaction interface and plays an important role in games. Game development gradually demands lightweight GUI framework with suitability, flexibility and extensibility. This paper presents a novel lightweight game GUI framework with good extensibility, and illustrates its detailed architecture and component. We developed a prototype of lightweight game GUI and show its superiority over the existing GUI frameworks in terms of efficiency, lightweight and extensibility.
