Abstract
Abstract Aliphatic selenonesters react with o‐phenylenediamine, o‐aminophenol and o‐aminothiophenol and their derivatives to form benzimidazole, benzoxazole and benzothiazole derivatives, respectively. The mass and nmr spectra of the mentioned compounds were studied.
