Abstract
A derivative spectrophotometric procedure for the simultaneous determination of amlodipine with either enalapril maleate or lisinopril in combined tablet preparations was developed. Tablet extracts of amlodipine-enalapril maleate and amlodipine-lisinopril were prepared in 0–1 M HCl. The zero-crossing point technique was used to estimate the amounts of individual drugs in the combined preparations. The results were found to be accurate, reproducible and free from interference.
