Abstract

When human lymphoid cells are exposed to colcemid overnight at 4°C and subsequently incubated at 37.5°–38°C, variation in incubation time offers a simple method to produce chromosome slides with a high frequency of either prophase, prometaphase, or metaphase chromosomes.
