Abstract
A method is presented to use more conveniently the International Practical Temperature Scale of 1968 (IPTS-68) interpolating equations in the temperature range of 13.81 to 273.15 K (−259.34 to 0°C). Equations for each of the four temperature segments allow calculation of temperature from the measured thermometer resistance and calculation of resistance ratio and resistance at each temperature.
