Abstract

This report provides a comprehensive overview of all aspects of household expenditure and income derived from the Family Expenditure survey of around 6500 households in the United Kingdom. The report should be an ideal tool for developing strategies based on consumer spending patterns and provides the reader with detailed analysis of household expenditure broken down by age, economic status, income and geography. The result is an accurate picture of what households in Britain spend their money on today.
