By the high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) technology, a near infrared (NIR) spectroscopy model is established to directly measure the stevioside glycosides --rebaudioside A (RA) and stevioside (STV) content in the leaves of Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni, this model can be directly applied to measure the content of RA and STV in the leaves of Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni, and resolved the problem of high cost and complex operation using the chemical method to measure the content of RA and STV in the laboratory in current. © 2011 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
