Abstract

The effective thermal efficiency characteristics of the integrated piston-plunger pump were studied. The integrated piston-plunger pump integrated piston engine and plunger pump technology as a whole, making piston linear motion into plunger output water pressure energy. Compared with piston engine driving plunger pump system, the best effective thermal efficiency area and the best effective thermal efficiency characteristic curve was obtained. Under total working conditions, effective thermal efficiency was improved by 13.63-74.45% compared with piston engine driving plunger pump system. The same effective thermal efficiency level contained wider working conditions than the piston engine driving plunger pump system. The highest effective thermal efficiency of integrated piston-plunger pump under different throttles was between 19.91% and 28.88%, and the corresponding speed was about 1400 r/min.
