Abstract

We describe a 29-year-old pregnant woman presenting with neurological signs and diagnosed to have Wernicke's encephalopathy. The patient had a full recovery after prompt intravenous thiamine therapy. The clinical, pathological and MR features of Wernicke's encephalopathy are discussed.
