Abstract
Along with the optimized utilization of the leisure space and the optimization of leisure service facilities for elderly people, the leisure activities for the elderly in Beijing appeared many new characteristics. Through to the random sampling investigation of leisure life satisfaction among 500 elderly people in Beijing, we found that elderly leisure activities have a positive correlation with life satisfaction. We also constructed a leisure life quality evaluation index system index system for the urban elderly through factor analysis of the survey data. It was imperative to establish the planning mechanism of leisure space and leisure service facilities to meet the elderly people's demand for leisure diversification in future.
