Abstract

The modern logistics industry plays an important role in promoting economic development. However, it also has serious adverse effects on the environment. Therefore it is necessary to practice green logistics management, particularly in goods transportation, packaging, storage, loading and unloading. This article analyzes the green management system of logistics enterprises and advances the concept of Green Logistics, which should be held by the public. In addition, it proposes that government should strengthen its supervision and support for green logistics, enterprises should construct a self-disciplined green logistics management system and its corresponding processes, a reverse logistics management system and a modern green logistics information collection and management system.
