Abstract

The performance of a Bluetooth medium access control layer is evaluated when the radio is operating in close proximity to other Bluetooth piconets and 802.11 wireless local area networks. The packet error rate of a Bluetooth piconet and the aggregated throughput of N collocated Bluetooth piconets are given.
