Abstract
A study was conducted to determine to what extent the current professional education literature is publishing material on environmental education in the school curriculum. Findings indicate that readers will not readily find information on how to infuse environmental education into the school curriculum. Findings from this study also indicate that there is considerably less environmental education material in current educational journals than those of 20 years ago. These findings suggest that environmental education may be a low priority in the schools and in teacher-education programs.
