Abstract

Abstract The pressure dependences of the fluorescence yields for anthracene, 1-, 2-, 9-methylanthracene, 1-, 2-, and 9-chloroanthracene were obtained in n-hexane at room temperature up to 3000 kg/cm2. Results were interpreted in terms of a change of Franck–Condon factor in the intersystem crossing rate.
