Abstract
Abstract A method for the determination of a small amount of uranium in thorium using the separation method with precipitation, combined with X-ray fluorescent spectroscopy, was investigated. About 100 μg. of uranium in thorium could be determined simply and rapidly by using alizarin blue as the precipitant for uranium and EDTA as the masking reagent for thorium.
