Abstract

A graphite furnace atomic-absorption spectrometric method for the determination of 0.5–100 µg ml–1 of aluminium in matrices containing chlorine and high concentrations of sulphur is described. The precision of the over-all procedure was 4%. Graphite tube conditions and the composition of the matrix were found to change the sensitivity for aluminium.
