Abstract

The decay rates of $\ensuremath{\omega}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}3\ensuremath{\pi}$, $\ensuremath{\eta}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\gamma}$, ${X}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\gamma}$, $\ensuremath{\eta}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}\ensuremath{\gamma}\ensuremath{\gamma}$, and ${X}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}\ensuremath{\gamma}\ensuremath{\gamma}$ are calculated using a chiral Lagrangian model suggested previously. The effects of the contact interaction and the $\ensuremath{\sigma}$-pole terms in these decay modes are studied in detail.
