Abstract
The lipids of five mesopelagic species of myctophid, two mesopelagic species of stomia‐toid, and one epipelagic species of Macrorhamphosidae from the eastern‐North Atlantic have been examined by thin‐layer chromatography and their fatty acid compositions have been determined by gas‐liquid chromatography.
