Abstract

The study was carried out to investigate the anti-ulcer activity of aqueous leaf extract of Persea americana. Groups of albino rats were pre-treated orally with aqueous leaf extract of the plant before administration of the ulcerogenic drugs-indomethacin and ethanol.
