Abstract A stand otPicea abies (L.) Karst. was studied using the method of tree‐ring analysis. The stand involved non‐infected trees and trees at different stages of infection by the wood‐destroying fungus Armillaria mellea (Vahl. ex Fr.) Kummer [Armillariella mellea (Vahl.) Karst.].
