Abstract
Abstract Graffenrieda glandulosa can be distinguished from other species in the genus by the 3-nerved leaves with barbate nerve bases on the abaxial surface, the calyptrate calyx, and the short connective appendages covered with glandular trichomes. This new species has been collected only in the western tip of the state of Acre, Brazil, near the border with Peru.
