Abstract
Coomansinema n. gen. is related to Willinema Baqri & Jairajpuri, 1967, Opisthodorylaimus Ahmad & Jairajpuri, 1982 and Mesodorylaimus Andrassy, 1959. It has lip region without sclcrotization, a wide and thick-walled odontostyle, second pair of ventrosublateral oesophageal gland nuclei (S 2 N) far from base of oesophagus, amphidelphic reproductive system, longitudinal vulva and short conoid tail in both sexes. The type species, Coomansinema dimorphicauda n. gen., n. sp. is described and illustrated.
