Abstract

A simple generalized analysis of a centre-fed dipole antenna with feed-points displaced arbitrarily (DAFDA) is presented. Mathematical expressions for the far field radiation pattern, radiation resistance, power gain, directivity and effective aperture are developed. The variation in the properties of this dipole configuration for various values of feed-point diplacement R is presented.
