Abstract
As soon as Cloud Storage concept was proposed, it has received strong support and extensive attention from major venders, and become a hot topic in many fields. This paper proposes a layered and generalized architecture of Cloud Storage, and on this basis, we come up with a storage virtualization structure, combining with traditional storage virtualization technology. It has two steps virtualization: first is the physical layer to the logical layer virtualization, and the second step is the logical layer to the virtual layer virtualization. We can greatly enhance the storage capacity utilization and scalability through this structure.
