Geochemical specialization of the Upper Proterozoic complexes of the Kolyma Terrane in Northeast Russia

Abstract

The study of the distribution of the ore-forming elements in the Upper Proterozoic lithotectonic complexes of the Kolyma Terrane revealed their chalcophile affinity. Based on the sialic type of geochemical specialization, the mature composition of the continental crust of the region in the Late Proterozoic was suggested. It was shown that the epigenetic mineralization inherited the geochemical specialization of the host Late Proterozoic complexes, which indicates the active tectonomagmatic evolution of the Kolyma Terrane in the Phanerozoic.
