Open publisher page 1 citations

Abstract

Unitarity and analyticity bounds on the absorptive parts of ${\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}}p$ $s$-channel helicity amplitudes are compared with the results of a recent amplitude analysis. It is found that in particular the helicity-flip amplitude is severely restricted in the forward region.
