Abstract
Misonidazole is a radiosensitizer specific for hypoxic cells supposedly present only in tumours. We have been working with misonidazole in association with radiation, taking particular care to look for both local and general toxicity due to the drug per se and undesirable radiosensitization effects by the combined modality. We report here an increased mucosal reaction.
